Teak is a CRM platform built for free-to-play games. You know, those fun games you download from the app store that seemingly go on forever and are dangerously addicting. Teak powers the push notifications, emails, and social links that games send out to their players.
Industry: B2B Tech
Project: Website and rebrand
Problem: Aside from a logo and colors, Teak had no distinct identity that set them apart.
Solution: We took a deep dive into what made Teak unique. The answer sorta just fell in front of us: While other CRMs focus on a range of industries, Teak is the only CRM platform purpose-built for free-to-play. That means the tools they build are super easy for mobile game studios to integrate into their games.
The tagline
As an emerging CRM, we needed a line that showed their value right away. The retention engine tells us what they do, behind irresistible games shows us who they’re for. This is the north star that all brand messaging rallies around.
Homepage
Teak is a small company. The founders are the ones running everything from client communication to engineering to sales. The tone of voice was developed to reflect this small company vibe—approachable and conversational, while maintaining the confidence of a team that has been in this space for over a decade.
Product page
Teak’s platform allows mobile games to send email and push notification, and also deep links that can be posted to social media. This page needed to be more on the technical side, so we moved away from the playfulness of the homepage to give a more detailed explanation of what they offer while still maintaining a lighthearted touch.
Pricing page
Teak has one service that scales proportionally to how many users a game has. We highlighted the simplicity of this pricing structure and added a sliding bar that shows you a snapshot of how much a studio might pay based on their user count.
About page
This page reinforces Teak’s service offering and highlights how simple it is to get set up. A big part of working with Teak is that you get to work directly with the founders. We aimed to capture this level of personalization on the page.
